Complete Hydraulic, Civil & Fire Infrastructure for Multi-Level Waterfront Facility
The Boat Rack Williamstown required comprehensive hydraulic, civil, and fire service infrastructure to support a complex multi-level facility with unique operational demands. The project demanded coordinated delivery across water authority connections, sewerage systems, fire protection networks, environmental treatment, and amenity installations, all requiring precise integration and regulatory approval.
East Plumbing Co delivered a complete infrastructure package coordinating multiple trades and authorities. We installed water main and sewer main connections to authority points, managing street coordination and regulatory approvals. Fire service infrastructure included hydrants and hose reels extending to the floating pier, addressing the facility’s unique waterfront requirements. Stormwater and oil/petrol treatment plants with pump systems protected environmental compliance. Civil pits, rising sewer infrastructure, and complete bathroom and kitchen fitouts rounded out the scope.
The complexity lay in coordinating simultaneous hydraulic, civil, and fire systems across multiple building levels while managing external authority approvals, environmental compliance requirements, and waterfront-specific challenges. Sequencing work phases, maintaining building access during installation, and ensuring all systems integrated seamlessly demanded careful planning and systematic execution.
Key Outcomes
Fully compliant multi-system infrastructure protecting facility operations and environmental standards, seamless integration of hydraulic, civil, and fire services, successful authority approvals and regulatory sign-off, and a functional facility ready for operational launch.
