Frequently asked questions
Do you work in occupied aged care facilities?
Yes, and almost all of our aged care work is in occupied buildings. We isolate the smallest possible area, coordinate access through facility management, and keep works contained so care routines continue around us.
How often should thermostatic mixing valves be serviced?
Annually at minimum, and more frequently in high-use facilities or where water conditions are hard on components. Valves drift silently, so the delivered temperature has to be measured and recorded at each service for the record to mean anything.
What documentation will we receive?
A register identifying each valve by location, the temperature measured, the work performed and the date, in a form that goes straight into your compliance file. Certificates for any notifiable work are provided alongside it.
Can you attend urgently if a resident bathroom fails?
Yes. A resident losing access to their bathroom is treated as an emergency, not a next-day job, because of what it means for their dignity and care.
